The Challenge

Lysander’s Leading a Great Scaleup Program, a partnership with LaunchVic, brought together entrepreneurs and emerging leaders from fast-growing, scaleup businesses. Many participants were new to leadership or lacked confidence in their approach, often struggling to connect with their teams and adapt to the demands of a scaling organisation. The program aimed to address these gaps by helping leaders build self-awareness, understand their own style, and develop the practical skills needed to inspire and guide others through change.

The Solution

The program offered a four-month, blended learning journey focused on transformational leadership. Participants engaged in digital courses, immersive workshops, and the CLS360 leadership diagnostic, enabling them to reflect deeply on their style, receive impartial feedback, and build inspirational capability. Workshops encouraged networking, sharing, and practical learning, while multiple one-on-one debriefs provided tailored guidance.

The Implementation

A flipped-classroom design allowed participants to complete self-paced digital learning, followed by face-to-face workshops and individual debriefs. Activities included assessments, video content, action planning, and guided reflection, all delivered via Lysander’s digital platform. The two-day workshop and CLS360 diagnostic were central, helping leaders consolidate insights and apply them in real-world contexts. Facilitators maintained ongoing engagement, supporting participants throughout the journey.

The Results

Graduates reported greater self-awareness, improved interpersonal relationships, and a clearer sense of purpose.
